This impressive house is situated in its own large grounds in a slightly elevated location a short walk from the sea front and restaurants. It has been furnished and equipped to a high standard and enjoys good sea views, especially from the upper floor. Winding paths run through the superb gardens on different levels and which have been planted with a wealth of trees and shrubs. The tourist board grading in March 2009 awarded Penglyn a 4 star rating.
Amroth is situated between Saundersfoot and Pendine in an unspoilt area of South Wales. It has a large sandy beach backed by cliffs. This beach marks the easterly end of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which winds its way for 186 miles past all the coves, beaches and cliffs of the Pembrokeshire National Park. Amroth beach is famous for its drowned forest - at very low tides tree stumps can be seen poking through the sand and fossilised antlers, nuts, animal bones and Neolithic flints have been discovered. Free parking is available and there is a slipway for small boats. Shops, toilets, cafes and pubs are all found close to the beach.
